READING COMPREHENSION ACTIVITY

 BEN'S BOOK

As you know, this 4th year primary school students are going to read Matilda both at home and at school. I suggest you start reading the first chapter at home and write an opinion on our Padlet for this quarter that I have just prepared for all of you.

I will check all your comments! Click here for PADLET

  1. Good afternoon,
I find it ingenious to present a Padlet as a tool for students to solve the requested task, which in this case is reading the book. Thus, it is necessary for them to practice writing after reading. A success, greetings¡

    1. Thank you. Reading has enormous advantages and benefits and in this precise case, I am sure they would develop empathy with Matilda because it is a imaginative book and their minds would run wild! As you said before, reading implies writing as well. Great success!

  3. Good morning! I like the idea of using Padlet to encourage your students to write a little bit about Matilda. Furthermore, it is a great book and very suitable for 4th grade students, I love Roal Dahl's books so much! With this activity your students have to think about which they have read first, and then write their summary. In addition, this way you motivate your students much more than writing on paper. Fantastic proposal!

I love Matilda's book and the idea that each student will create their own history. Being allowed to share and read all of the comments is such much fun. I will use it with my students! Thank you :)
